87% of People Unhappy
We are sending this message out to everyone one time, if you want to keep getting these emails (2-3 per week) do nothing- you are fine, if you don’t want to get mindset emails- please hit the unsub link. I wish we had an easier way to do this, hope you get value from this!
I had thoughts about going easy on these first few emails in hopes that huge numbers wouldn’t just jump ship but you know what, I am going to go for the juggler on this one because I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t
87% of people are unhappy with their jobs according to Gallup poll data, yes this will help lead to the next renaissance but probably after a recession, people aren’t quite sick and tired of being sick and tired yet.
Overall, Gallup found that only 13% of workers feel engaged by their jobs. That means they feel a sense of passion for their work, a deep connection to their employees and they spend their days driving innovation and moving their company forward.
The vast majority, some 63%, are “not engaged,” meaning they are unhappy but not drastically so. In short, they’re checked out. They sleepwalk through their days, putting little energy into their work.
A full 24% are what Gallup calls “actively disengaged,” meaning they pretty much hate their jobs. They act out and undermine what their coworkers accomplish.
Add the last two categories and you get 87% of workers worldwide who, as Gallup puts it, “are emotionally disconnected from their workplaces and less likely to be productive.” In other words, work is more often a source of frustration than one of fulfillment for nearly 90% of the world’s workers. That means that most workplaces are less productive and less safe than they could be and employers are less likely to create new jobs.
Coincidentally you look around the world and you see a lot of people hiding from themselves, terrified to look in the mirror and see who they have become- no wonder they are all so unhappy. We don’t need more safe spaces and attacks on the constitution, we need people to start taking ownership for their thoughts, fears and insecurities instead of mass projecting them on the world around them!
This isn’t working and I tell you what, I can’t stand it! Mark my words, the self help industry will reach all time highs over the next 2 years, and I will make tens of millions of dollars helping men get their balls back!
Deep down inside we all got mommy and daddy issues, we have all been raised to be too soft and to avoid conflict in anyway, and here is the after math of all of that. I don’t care if you are black, white, orange or purple we all got parent issues, some just hide it better than others!
You can’t be too upset when you see people allowing their 7 year old baby to transition genders and ask things like “where did we all go wrong” because that was it! The generational gap between Boomers and Millennial’s was exactly where it all happened!
Its like all of a sudden everyone was more concerned with just getting by instead of growing, comfort has won and change and challenge are all but considered abusive behavior. The point of life is to grow, if it wasn’t then there would be no challenge and everything would be soft and safe, but that’s not how duality works. There isn’t a single religion or spiritual practice on this planet that doesn’t recognize duality! Color vs white, darkness and light, ying and yang, happiness and sadness etc.
Its our job to collect the tools we need in order to clear out our emotional baggage, challenge ourselves and live a fulfilled life that we are satisfied with when it all comes to an end. Right now ask yourself if this was it and it was all about to end right now, would you be ok with that? Or would you be begging, crawling on the ground grabbing God by the ankles pleading for just one more minute to say “I love you” to someone, or say you’re sorry to someone…?
….Its time for a swift kick in the nuts!
….Its time to get out there and feel comfortable being uncomfortable
….And its time to harden up (mentally).
This is what you can expect from these weekly emails, yes there will be some love and light as I have a strong passion for Hindu and Zen philosophy, so I will talk about many of the things I have learned from all my time in Asia.
Rooting for you!
